WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST VISIT

We have modern comfortable rooms conveniently located close to the Camberwell Junction.

At the initial appointment, an examination is carried out and advice given regarding possible orthodontic treatment.

The Orthodontist will look at your smile, alignment, bite, and condition of the teeth.  Other useful information such as x-rays or dentist notes are often used in the assessment.

The Orthodontist will answer any questions you may have, and provide you with treatment options.

Appointments to begin treatment can also be arranged at this time, and payment plans can also be discussed with administrative staff. A letter outlining your proposed treatment will also be sent to you.

For children the consultation is 30 minutes, and for adults it is 45 minutes.

At your new patient appointment, please bring:

  • A referral if you have one (it is not essential)
  • X-rays if requested (OPG and Lateral Ceph).  If you have already had these taken by your dentist please bring along or have them forwarded to us.
  • New Patient Information Form filled out (if you have not returned to us already in self-addressed envelope).
